Everyone has the photo. It is in the camera roll, it has been the wallpaper at some point, and it has never been printed. The gap between having a good photo and giving something made from it is smaller than people think, and the difference between the ideas below is mostly about how much transformation you want. The most transformed thing you can do: the same face, repainted as a Renaissance, Baroque or Belle Époque portrait, with the light, background and clothing reimagined entirely.
